Bio
As a non-traditional law student, Mrs. Brown worked full time as an Attorney Assistant Supervisor at the Office of the Public Defender while attending law school. After graduating, Mrs. Brown began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Superior Court of New Jersey- Essex County Vicinage in the Criminal Division under the Honorable James L. Jukes, J.S.C. She then took a role as a Special Deputy Attorney General/Acting Assistant Prosecutor in Essex County where she worked in the Juvenile Unit. Mrs. Brown is the founder and CEO of the Law Office of Donnette A. Brown, LLC. Her firm specializes in family law, criminal law, and landlord tenant. She also serves as Union County Council. Mrs. Brown is also the CEO/Founder of Alexis Rose Affairs where she coordinates and plan high end events.
She is also the co-founder of the first Domestic Violence Clinic located at the Shani Baraka Women’s Resource Center which will provide legal advice to domestic violence victims. In addition to her works, Mrs. Brown is a member of several affinity bars.
She was named Super Lawyer of 2025, sworn to practice before the United States Supreme Court, and named Forty Under Forty of 2025.
